Theme
“Your friend Cid was playing poker in the back room of the Ring O Bells. He has lost £2K and accused the other players of cheating. These guys aren’t to be messed with and have gagged and bound Cid and locked him in the cupboard. You have one hour to find Cid and rescue him before these gangsters return to dispose of him !”
Hosts
Our host was really friendly and you could tell he loved the rooms he created. It was quite a busy day and couldn’t spend much time with us but explained the necessary do’s and dont’s during the brief.
Room Set Up
For an interdependent company the room set up was great, a lot of attention to detail which fully immersed you into the story. The room was slightly small and dimly lit at first however opened up with better lighting as the game went on. The room was on the small side to allow the maximum however later on team of 8 would have adequate floor space.
Game Play
The puzzles were clearly marked as to what was required to open them, the room was more non linear puzzles but had clear markings to what parts were related. All the locks were either coded or key padlocks. The puzzles were a mix of mathematics, logical and a lot of searching involved, with great use of old electrical equipment to take you back in time.
Clue System
Clues are delivered by a telephone located at the entrance and given personally by the host, we prefer this method as you can ask the host to explain something if you don’t understand what has been said.

We thoroughly enjoyed this game as we were surprised at how much attention to detail there was. This room would be great for an older audience, due to the story, a younger audience may not understand some of the tasks.
