Theme
“It’s the year of our lord 1672, and you be right in the height o’ the golden age o’ piracy…
After years of sailin’ the high seas, you and your crew have succeeded in your fair share of ambushes, and as a result – your ship is teamin’ with bounty.
Yet you’re still suffering beneath the cruel wrath o’ Captain Starling – a notoriously bloodthirsty buccaneer, and your shipmates have decided you all shall take matters into your own hands. After all… you fought for the gold, so the gold is yours for the taking, aye?
Once the old seadog has retreated to his berth for the night, you make your move. Get in, get the treasure and get out. You won’t have long before he starts to stir – and Starling shows no mercy to ANY soul…”
Host
This was our third game of the day and second game with host Michelle who was again very fun and charismatic.
Room Set Up
The set up for this game is beyond belief, it had us saying WOW every time we moved through this game, it is incredible !! At first the room would be small for the maximum team size but don’t worry you will quickly move on and after that you will have plenty of space. The room defiantly gives you the feel of being on board a ship however that’s not the best part of the set up, id love to tell you what happens but you’ll have to play it to find out. My only advise for this game is to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, especially your shoes.
Game Play
This game is non liner which we struggled with a little as a two but our clue giver helped us keep on the right path. This room has physical elements which is our favorite type of game as it plays to both our strengths, it really reminded us of that kids show Jungle Run on CITV, as this game is really fitting for kids and adults. This game uses a mix of coded and key padlocks. The puzzles are physical, observational and logical. We had to mimic one puzzle as we couldn’t figure it out in our heads so we acted it out which will defiantly help you out more. Team work is a massive part of this game, you all need to work with each other to get you through.
