Theme
“Light shines through the hotel room curtains. Is it morning already? The stag do got a little out of hand last night – what even happened? You get up a little unsteadily and survey the scene; bottles everywhere, the rest of the group lying around you. But try as you might, you can’t find the groom anywhere. Panic sets in. You pick up the phone to try to reach his mobile but the line is dead. You try the door but the room is locked from the outside. You’re trapped. The only way out is to piece together the events last night through the clues around you, and solve your way out. With the wedding in less than 12 hours, can you find the groom and save the day? This escape room is strictly adults only, so be prepared for things to get a little spicy!”
Host
Our host Simon was very enthusiastic, he was new to the job however he already had such passion, defiantly an escape room enthusiast in the making. We had a chat about rooms we’ve completed, given our brief and then led to our hen party suite.
Room Set Up
There is plenty of space in this game for the maximum sized team of 5, the rooms are dimly lit but this is in keeping with the theme of the game. The rooms are sparsely decorated but everything in here has a purpose. Some of the decor is a little risky for sensitive people as its very sexualised.
Game Play
This is game is slightly non linear at the start however becomes liner around mid way through.. It was a bit of a scavenger hunt, completing puzzles in order to gain pieces for a bigger task. The game had good flow, We did get a little stuck during one part of the game but with a gentle nudge from our host we were back on track again. This game is fully automated bar one padlock. Puzzles consist are mainly observational and all very logical. There is one puzzle that you have to listen carefully and another which showcased Laura’s incredible off toned singing (or do dooo doo-ing) which has us laughing so hard we had to just take a little time out and compose ourselves.

Our Overall Rating

Difficulty ★★★☆☆

Overall Experience ★★★★★
We had such a fun time playing this game, I don’t think we have ever laughed so much as we did during one puzzle, but this is defiantly a game to avoid if you are a little uncomfortable with nudity and sexual references. AIM escape have put together a really good room that incorporates all of the props into the puzzles which fit the theme and story line incredibly well. As it’s slightly non linear larger teams wouldn’t be stuck for things to do but for smaller teams there is enough to keep you busy for a good chunk of your 60 minutes. We will be talking about this room for a long time as we had so much fun, we defiantly recommend trying out this game and we are looking forward to returning soon to play their other games on offer.
